About the project
PupStory is an app for people caring for dogs, cats and other pets. It combines a private memories journal, photo and video gallery, vaccination reminders, weight history, documents and health records in one calm interface.
The project includes an offline-first Ionic/Angular app and a Symfony API backend. Data is stored locally in IndexedDB using Dexie and synchronised with the API after sign-in. The app supports pet profiles, a timeline, albums shared by link, family access roles, photo, document and video uploads, and core PRO features.
Project scope:
- an Ionic 8 / Angular 20 app with Capacitor, prepared for web, Android and iOS,
- offline-first operation with a local database, a synchronisation queue and use without an account,
- a Symfony backend with JWT, Doctrine, REST API, Cloudflare, uploads and public albums,
- a pet dashboard, timeline, gallery, documents, reminders and weight chart,
- a product landing page at pupstory.app.
