OnceLittle

OnceLittle is a private childhood journal where families can save photos, videos, voice recordings, funny sayings and stories from every stage of growing up. Separate child profiles and a shared timeline keep memories organised without turning them into a public social media profile.

The app was built with Ionic and Angular as an offline-first solution for Android and iOS. Data remains available locally, while a family account enables secure cloud synchronisation, collaboration and access roles.

Project scope:

• a timeline, albums, favourite memories and search across the entire history,
• photos, videos, voice recordings, sayings, artwork and milestones,
• annual interviews, height measurements and time capsules with an opening date,
• child profiles, family access roles, comments and invitations,
• offline mode, a local IndexedDB database, a synchronisation queue and PWA support,
• a bilingual interface, light and dark themes and native Capacitor projects.
